Unlike a traditional printed quilting collection, Popcorn Wovens are woven fabrics. The checks and plaids are created with colored yarns woven directly into the cloth rather than a design printed onto the surface. That construction gives the fabric a distinctive texture and a softer, more relaxed feel that adds another dimension to quilts and other sewn projects.
Elizabeth Hartman's collection explores gingham and plaid in different scales, from small checks to larger, bolder patterns. The palette moves through fresh aqua and green, sunny yellow and mustard, warm peach and orange, coral, and softer neutral tones.
