About Us
Our Mission
At Pisgah Needleworks, our mission is to create and share handmade joy through carefully curated cross stitch kits, pre-cut quilting fabrics, and original adult coloring books. We believe that creativity should be both accessible and relaxing—something you can enjoy at your own pace, with your own hands. Rooted in family, tradition, and a love for the arts, we’re here to bring beauty, comfort, and inspiration into your home—one stitch, square, and stroke at a time.
Meet the Makers
Josh Jenkins is a native of Elkin, NC, and has been crafting his entire life. He discovered cross-stitching as not only a creative outlet but also a powerful tool for managing stress and anxiety. His ideal day is a cool autumn afternoon with the leaves ablaze in color as he sits in his favorite chair, overlooking the woods with a cross-stitch project in hand. When he’s not creating or sharing kits with fellow enthusiasts, Josh serves as the founder and CEO of Arquive Consulting, a digital curation firm that helps clients build and secure their digital collections. He holds a B.A. in English and a Master of Library Science from Appalachian State University, as well as a Master of Digital Curation and Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Erin Jenkins is a native of Garner, NC. She grew up in a family of crafters and is now pursuing her own path as a crafting ambassador. In recent years, she has enjoyed machine embroidery and quilting, creating handmade treasures for friends and family. When she’s not working to make Pisgah Needleworks a go-to shop for crafters like herself, Erin serves as a Pre-K special education teacher. She holds a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Erin and Josh have been married since 2009 and are the proud parents of four beautiful children, all adopted through the North Carolina Foster Care Program. Their love of crafting has been passed down to the next generation—now, the entire family enjoys peaceful afternoons creating together after work and school.
