Santa's Visit by Love Poppet is a charming counted cross stitch pattern featuring a traditional Santa Claus dressed in his richly detailed red suit, carrying a festive stocking filled with greenery and treats. Created by Claire Vincent as her 2025 Santa design, Santa's Visit combines classic holiday imagery with the whimsical details that make Love Poppet patterns so distinctive.

The design features 3,694 cross stitches and uses 18 DMC embroidery floss colors. Most of the pattern consists of full cross stitches, with a few decorative long stitches worked in DMC 745. It's a rewarding project for confident beginners and experienced stitchers who enjoy detailed seasonal designs.

The original model was stitched on misty blue 14-count Zweigart Aida (594) using two strands of DMC floss. The pattern can also be worked on other fabric counts to suit your stitching preferences.
