Designed by Claire Vincent as a companion to the popular Night Riders design, Girls Night Out features three wonderfully dressed witches gathered around a bubbling black cauldron. Each has her own personality, from the witch with flowing orange hair to the central figure dressed in dramatic shades of pink and purple, and her green-haired companion on the right.

Swirling white stitches frame the scene, while a crescent moon, scattered stars, and curling wisps of magic add movement against the misty blue background. The intricate details, colorful costumes, and decorative stitching give this design plenty of character without losing its traditional Halloween appeal.

Girls Night Out is a wonderful project for experienced cross stitchers who enjoy detailed designs and seasonal needlework. Its combination of character details, contrasting colors, and decorative elements makes it especially rewarding to stitch.

The original model was stitched by Charlotte Smith on 32-count Zweigart Evenweave in Misty Blue (5106), using two strands of DMC embroidery floss over two fabric threads.

Choose Your Fabric

14-Count Aida

A traditional cross stitch fabric with clearly defined stitching holes. A good choice for stitchers who prefer working on Aida rather than evenweave.

32-Count Evenweave

The fabric used for the original model. Stitching over two fabric threads creates the equivalent of 16 stitches per inch, giving the finished design a finer appearance.
