Coast is a traditional Aran yarn. Aran yarn is the original 100% wool yarn traditionally used to knit cable sweaters in coastal regions of Britain and Ireland, with the Irish island of Aran giving it its name. Aran yarn has always been worsted spun and hank dyed, and ours follows these traditional methods.
