Made from 100% US-grown, mulesing-free Merino wool, this yarn is spun in North Carolina and hand-dyed in Freia’s North Adams studio using environmentally gentle acid dyes. The fibers are subtly felted during dyeing, adding strength without compromising softness. Perfect for shawls, wraps, and fine-gauge garments, the yarn’s light weight and natural warmth make it a pleasure to knit and wear.

The River colorway features a tranquil blend of deep blues, soft teals, and gentle grays — evoking the serene beauty of moving water and natural reflection.
