In ancient legend, Athena and Poseidon competed to become the Patron Deity of a growing Greek city. Poseidon brought forth a magnificent seawater fountain, but Athena planted the first olive tree, offering nourishment and prosperity. The people chose her as their protector, naming their city Athens in her honor.

Working with this yarn is meant to evoke the same creative spirit. Each skein carries subtle hand-dyed variation, giving your project depth, beauty, and a touch of the goddess’s inspiration.

Wet block your finished project. Some color bleeding may occur during the first wash. Handwash gently in cool water with your favorite wool wash and lay flat to dry.

Refunds and Returns
